Subkuchh Ki Thali Restaurant Malad West | 10 reviews
Visited this restaurant last month. I was told that this is one of the best joints near inorbit. But i was not satisfied. Food had a average taste, the waiters and captains were busy watching a cricket match on the screen. Had to call them everytime we need a roti or water. Would never visit again -

I am an insurance adviser. One of my foreigner client was admitted to aditya birla hospital, chinchwad, for treatment. He had a cashless medical policy. But he was made to pay an advance of Rs.10000. On discharge he was handed over an extra bill of Rs.5000. When asked for the bill details, the hospital explained that foreigners are charged 25% extra as admission fees, luxury tax, charges for people staying with him, their passes. Eat at Swati on 4th March. Was shocked to see the prices. The food was average as compared to the pricing. Had visited Swati a year ago. Vinay Health Home near marine lines is far more better than Swati. -

I went with a group of 9 friends on saturday 01st Jan. The place was crowded. We paid Rs.400 per person. The reception, Folk dancers and the decor was nice. Gives u a feel of Rajasthan. But when it came to the food part, we all were disappointed. The puris were swimming in oil, rice was all cold, dal was cold, roti's were ok, sabji included palak paneer, gatte ka saag, aloo rassa. Malpoa, churma were average. In all our experience was not worth the money we paid for it. I won't recommend it to anyone -

I have been eating at Mayur since my childhood. I have eaten at dozens of other Thali joints too, but never felt they lived up to the standards of Mayur. Last week i went with my friends to Choki Dhani, paid 400 per person. It was the worst experience i had, and realised that what i pay at Mayur is worth every penny. I think all the people with negative reviews should visit other thali joints, and see the hygiene there. Its no comparision to Mayur. Keep up the good work Amit -
