Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
Had seen this restaurant claiming to be a Euro Chinese restaurant on main road just after Agara. Had been thinking to give it a try and finally did that last week.
Upon entering, it looked a just OK kind of an ambaince with really poor lighting..Plus, the ground floor section was open from the entrance side and since we had a small kid, we thought of going upstairs..We were then told that upstairs is the smoking section and then decided to tuck ourselves in the corner table on the ground floor..
We decided to have soups and some starter..Ordered Veg Hot & Sour soup and a... read more
We have been to this join several times, while going to Mysore/Coorg and sometimes only to this joint and back..The ambiance there has always been average, but we like to go there because of great taste of the food..Sadly, the taste/quality of the food also seems to be going down by the days..
We went there last week and our experience was pretty bad..What we ordered was as follows. 1. Had crossed across this newly open restaurant quite some times and was wanting to go there..Finally went out with office colleagues yesterday for lunch..
Upon entering, there is a food court like ambience..However on the left hand side in a separate room, there was proper seating like any restaurant..The place being new was giving a fresh look..The only issue was that for 6 people, we had to sit on the sofas adjacent to the wall..Service was an issue to the 2 guys sitting on the corner and probably they should have thought of a more convenient seating..
Had been craving for Litti Chokha and Sattu Parantha for some time after having heard a lot about it from freinds from Bihar..Had tasted Litti Chokha earlier so was more keen on Sattu Parantha and hence landed up at Chilli Pepper on a weekday afternoon for lunch..
Unfortunately, Litti Chokha is served only on weekends. So ordered Sattu Parantha, Paneer Butter Masala and Veg Kofta.
Sattu Parantha was very nicely done and good in taste with the grinded Chana stuffed in the wheat dough. Preparation was really nice. The two veggies we had ordered also tasted good, although on... read more
My friend and myself (along with our kids and spouses) were planning for a relaxing lazy and sumptous lunch somewhere in Bangalore. After some search here and there and on Burrp, we finalised on 12th Main as the restaurant where we'll have lunch on Saturday..
Decided to make the booking on the previous night as thought the place might be crowded. Requested for a table in their lawn as that seemed a place with nicer ambience. The guy taking our booking acted as of it is difficult to give place outside as that is always full. Anyways, he agreed.
