I had recently gone to the restaurant/24-hour cafe located at the lobby level of Ibis. My friend ordered a coffee and i ordered tea. On inquiring we were told that the tea would be dip tea. That in my experience is the safest option in a new place. Not anymore. Because even the dip tea was pathetic. There was too much foam and not enough tea in it. The coffee was cold. My office machine gives better tea/coffee. For free! So disappointing when a restaurant can't even give a decent cup of tea. -

I went to this place for the second time since its opened. And totally loved the place and the ambiance. But my friend and i hesitated to buy a drink because even the first time the drinks were not up to the mark. So we ordered something very safe - Lemon Iced Tea. Now, how can anyone go wrong with a LIT. But believe me, these people don't know the meaning of Iced Tea. The drink was completely sour and just one sip irritated my throat. There was no trace of tea in it. When we sent it back for them to add sugar, it still came back sour - it tasted like a really sour lemonade!

I'm a stranger to Chembur but in my experience the place lacks a decent place that serves good, tasty food. Except maybe Sadguru. I went to Royal Orchid with some friends last evening and one of my friends said their food is good since his office gets food catered by them.
My friend ordered Kokum Fizz which was nice. My Peach Iced Tea had a slice of mosambi! I don't know why and there was no taste of tea. It was just sugar.

We stopped by this Baskin-Robbins outlet last evening and three of us ordered 1 small scoop each. The total bill came up to Rs 255/-. The 2 men at the counter weren't giving me my bill so i had to ask them for it. After going through it, i realised they had charged me for a 'jumbo' size instead of a 'small'. Overall, the bill was Rs 75/- extra. Please be careful when you go here and check your bill properly. I was disgusted when i realised these 2 men were looting people like that! -

I have been going to this place for some time now. And i love this place. I love the ambiance, the food, the staff. I even like their restroom with double doors and old-fashioned switchboard!
The food has alwys been amazing. I love their peach iced tea and their salads. And if you want to go the whole hog, try their pizzas! Yum! Not sure how their non-veg is though, since im a veg. Their apple crumble and coffees are outstanding too. The only problem is that they never have tables empty and you have to wait downstairs! -
