Most of my Sunday afternoon Lunches are at a Thali Place.
Sadly, my THIS visit to this place is ... Unsatisfactory,
We all know its a generally good thali place, great ambience, well loacted, nie...but...
Reasons that upset me this time:
1. Sloppy service. Too hurried, careless, dropping food all over, too much clanging, borderline inattentive.
2. Quantity good, but Quality poor.
3. Paneer burji had hardly any paneer.
4. Phool Kachori tasted awful
5. Dhoklas were weird.
6. Basundi was strictly okay material, infact low grade

Big Sandwich Company (no relationship to reliance whatsoever ;) )
With a lot of expectations I grabbed the 1st opportunity to give it a try. So today, for my evening dose of snacks I went to check out Big Sandwich Company.
Okay...First Thumbs up to the Guys - Vishal & Nimesh for this venture & a few Innovative ideas. Perfect location, right next to Sathaye College, ideal business venture. But theres more to a Food place than just location.

Pankaj Fast food is a relatively newly opened joint right next to Chedda stores, opp. Matunga Rly. Stn.
Essentially this place comprises of 3 Different stalls:
1. Sandwhiches: to the left of Relax Hotel.
2. Chaat: To the right of Chedda Stores
3. IceCream (Kulfi): 2 shops behind the Chaat spot.
So basically, no real ambience, its an open air thing, right in the middle of one of the busiest & crowded streets of Matunga.
Worth Noting & Appreciating: All the employees at all three stalls are well trained & courteous.

Hang Out Cakes & More Vile Parle West | 1 review
Hang Out is a very misnomer for this shop, because there is NOTHING to "hang out". No seating, no table. Its not somewhere you & your buddies can go & "hang out" over a cup of coffee or share a pastry with you special ones. Nothing of that sort.
It is a cake shop. Period.
Having frequented this particular branch at Vile Parle (W), due to its proximity to the station & the last minute rushes to fetch a cake for our celebration, I can now make a statement or two.
Its a cake shop, so lets cut some slack & get to point.

Ribbons & Balloons Matunga (E) | 1 review
Me & my friends have always loved the cakes from Ribbons & Balloons (R&B) and is one of the top contenders as a cake shop for our celebrations.
Other contenders are: Hang Out, Merwan's, Eden, Oven Fresh, Birdy's.
This R&B branch at Matunga is just like any other R&B branch.
My experience to THIS particular branch has only been one single time, hence it might not be very elaborate or complete.
Review Specific to Matunga Branch:
Variety: Average, just what a cake shop should have, nothing special.
