One of the worst kolhapuri thali’s I have had outside of Kolhapur in the last decade.
I was in Pune after a long time and decided to visit a good kolhapuri mutton thali place to serve my pandhra rassa and tambda rassa cravings. I am not sure if i went on a wrong day or the food is usually so pathetic, but it was an awfully bad experience.

Have been going here since childhood almost everytime I used to visit Heera Panna - which was atleast once a month. In love with the mutton biryani and the rose falooda here- they are a must try. Noorani offlate has also introduced some new age dishes to its otherwise predominantly mughlai cuisine, but they mostly fail to make a mark.
You should stick to the basics when you visit this place full of simplicity and cheap food.

It was my girls birthday and being a special occasion we wanted to dine at a star hotel, but being a weekday I wanted something closer home. I knew Westin had opened since some time and checked out their website and finally concluded on Seasonal Tastes.
The valet and staff were friendly to give us directions to the outlet, it was on the 18th floor and the night time view of the city was nice. One of the best "Hole in the Wall" restaurants that I have been to in Mumbai till date ..
The day was friday and as usual me and my office colleague were craving for a good gomantak lunch. We were bored of the usual Gajalee and Mahesh Lunch Home and Pangat , so decided to call up a few frnds who stay around Goregaon (thats where office is) and check if there are any similar places around here. This is my childhood favorite place for Seekh Kebabs and Tandoori. I remember them serving beef seekhs for as low as 15 bucks less than 5 years back.
Its a typical no frills place, bang on the street in the middle of the dust and pollution. But the smells of tandoor and kebabs will entice you from half a km away. They have recently renovated and shifted further inside from the road and have a bigger seating arrangement.
