Will rush through the review.
Food - 9/10 (The phirni was way too sweet, apart from that it was pretty much perfect. Do try the Tawa Murgh Tikka and the Pathankot chicken legs. Top, top stuff)
Service- 6.5/10 (rushed, but not poor. The restaurant is a little understaffed)
Ambiance - 7/10 (spic-n-span, but not a special experience in terms of ambiance)
Recommended - Yes. The food is special. -

Our second restaurant visited on a Burrp reference, and it was a reasonably good experience overall.
We visited the place rather late, say about 10PM (the final order was to be at 10:30PM) and were unfortunate to know that many of the dishes mentioned on the menu were not available. While the Kotthu Paratha that I ordered was available, my brother-in-law had to order three or four dishes which were not available till he settled down on the fajita. This is the first place yet that I visited out of a reference from Burrp. And am happy for the experience.
Situated right behind the Sukhsagar in Koramangala, it was rather easy to locate, thankfully, as we were running somewhat behind time to make it to the last order (that's 3:15PM for lunch, might I add).

They do a consistently great job.
Great customer service, very good ambiance, consistently great food... what's not to like? And I can visit the place again and again just for the Luchi-Kosha Mangsho, with the jhurjhure Alu Bhaja.
The afternoon buffet, which I have tried a few times, is also excellent.
It's a little pricey, but you will not crib for what you have had to shell out, the quality is absolutely top of the chart. -

I used to stay in Kolkata about 15 years ago, and use to visit Trincas (rarely) as an impoverished high-school student.
And well, the place has not changed at all since then... and thank heavens for it.
The guitar band is nice and friendly, and took requests. The waiters are ever so friendly, break into Bengali (my native tongue) sometimes, and are handy for suggestion.
The price tag is not too high, the ambiance is archetypal Trincas... not everybody's taste maybe, but I love it.
The food is very good. The drinks are okay.
