After reading about their restaurant and concept on the website, I have been dreaming of going there....this time we went to ITC Gardenia, but still we walked towards the regular Cubbon Pavilion that we dine at, something changed our minds and I suggested that we visit West View and see what it is all about.
We entered the restaurant and we were gladly welcomed by Pinky...who was there with a smile eager to help us out. Been here thrice :) want to go more and more.
The whole point is, you get more than what you pay for, off late restaurants are busy ripping you with bird size portions and horrible quality food, well, i guess this restaurant doesn't follow the same mantra! thank god! i don't want them to follow it at all.
The quantity is great, one person needs quite an appetite to scoff it all up! and they are reasonable as i said earlier.

The decor is o.k...(read generous here)! The food, we went on a sunday night for dinner 3 of us I mean. The menu looks not that unfortunate, but I am sure the real adventure starts. They taunt you by just throwing the starters on the table and dont turn up till the thing is cold and serve. The cutlery is greasy with a zillion fingerprints, so were the glasses, oh yeah we were trying to order the starters and they din't have half the things, what does that mean? could someone tell me that?
After a while we ordered our main course...this is where the real disaster begins!

The place is good. The service is very good,but when it comes to quantity and pricing it doesn't correspond at all.
Went with a friend of mine. Excited and yeah this was not the first time at a japanese restaurant. We wanted to try everything and we thought of ordering a Bento box for a whooping Rs.1900(per box), I would swear never to go back to this place that fleeces and when the hostess gingerly walks to us and enquires about why our comments were not to their satisfactory levels. Infinitea has always been a place that I would go to if I wanted good food, without compromising on quality, I have been there for the past 4 years almost, no day was I dissapointed.
This visit kind of changed my impression about this place. The stewards even know what I ordered and what I like.
I noticed one thing, that their quantity is going down and pricing has gone up(the pricing was up, but the reduction of the quantity has appeared from nowhere!)

No excuses for the horrible experience you've had at infinitea.
Dec 6 was one of those rare days where things were going horribly wrong for us at infinitea.
Many, many heartfelt apologies though.
In our defense, please think of the numerous good times you've had here for the last 4 years, and please do give me a chance to make it up and win you back.
If you want, just email/call me in advance and I will treat you to a beautiful lunch that will be hand cooked by me and this time there will be errors from our part.
