I was here sunday last with my friend , and both of us being sea-food lovers were looking forward to a good meal.We arrived at 12.30 and the restaurant and were promptly seated . We ordered bangda and seer fish starters along with some cold beer. The funny part is the beer took a good 10 min to arrive and considering that we were just 5 feet away from the bar, i found it funny and when i mentioned it to our waiter , he just nodded twice and went about serving a big group of 8 that just came in , and so finally i had to remind the captain who promptly bought it for us from the bar in 2 min flat....... read more -

I've been here a couple of times since I stay pretty close by , and the consistency of the food is truly commendable. The restaurant is quite clean compared to most other 'Military ' joints and the service is impeccable. I've tasted almost everything on the menu except for the 'Head Mutton and the Boti ' which is an acquired taste, but everything else is simply delicious and spicy . The ragi balls , the mutton liver , natti chicken masala ,ghee rice and the Khemma curry is just to die for. Me and a friend decided to have lunch at Kubay 's about a week back. It was the usual lunch rush hour but we manged to get seats and went about ordering, the time was about 1.30pm .The captain came to take our order and we ordered two plates of Kane fish ( one masala fry and the other was a rawa fry ). And we decided to split a Bangda curry for the main course with boiled rice.We asked the captain to ensure that everything was served together ,the captain did'nt bat an eyelid , said ok and was gone....then the wait started . I wish to apologize for the really bad experience that you had at our place. I do not wish to go into the reasons and give excuses, but I wish to assure you that we have prepared ourselves better to handle extreme conditions and assure you not to give another opportunity to complain about the services. Please do look at this one as an abberation and do visit us so that we can justify your presence.
