Tucked in a small street of the busy LB Road is Zha cafe. I have been here many times and have enjoyed it everytime. My favourite is the Madras masala maggi and the Bajji's. They also make the best Cheese Bites in Chennai btw. The Menu is affordable and inviting. The cafe has many rooms and every room is themed and different so everytime you visit you can choose a different ambience. They often have some quirky discount offers and the first time we went we got to send a postcard to anywhere for free. Must visit if you stay nearby.

Went there on a Sunday evening, it was crowded but we managed to get a table after a 15 minute wait. Lovely decor and the place could be a bit less noisy though. The tables are good for 4 people to chat.
What we ordered: 2 Tomato Soups, 1 Chicken Soup, Onion rings, Grilled Chicken sausages.
Everything that we ordered was good. I especially liked the onion rings with schezwan sauce.
The pricing is also moderate and they do offer a good choice of liquor as well. -

First Impressions: Ambience is good though the pricey menu is a bit heavy on the pocket. Good place to meet up for a chat.
What we ordered: Tomato Basil Pasta(Chicken), Chicken Tandoori Burger, Chicken Caesar salad and an Evolution(Virgin Margarita).
I had the Tandoori Burger, its a decent burger and its quite stable when you bite into it. The tandoori chicken flavour is very well balanced and there's a generous amount of fries to dig into as well.
I would want to come back to try the Chilli Cheese Fries next time.. -

Azulia had a Greek food festival going on and we decided to pay a visit and try out the Mediterranean fare. This was my first time at a proper Mediterranean restaurant and so I decided to ask the Chef and the Staff to help me out with choosing what to eat.
Azulia has a very extensive collection of wines and other liquor. We ordered a young red wine, Azagador, which the manager said would go lovely with our food. He was right. This evening as we were walking down Khader Nawaz Khan road, we thought why not take respite from the rain and try out this new restaurant as well. And Boy! was that a good decision.
This restaurant had just started and we arrived around 6:30pm. We were informed that the restaurant would open after 7pm. But they offered us a table and told us that they would try to whip up something for us nonetheless.
We were surprised that chef Jaavaid himself came to take our order. We never intended to order a full course meal so we just ordered soups and two starters.
