Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
After viewing the Che Bar & Grill link which appears on the Burrp! homepage, checking out the elaborate menu & reading the reviews, I recommended this place to a friend for her birthday party. To make a reservation for a table for 6 I kept calling both the numbers provided on the Burrp! website. Number not reachable. Tried calling Justdial, they provided the same numbers. I kept calling but in vain. Assuming that they had changed their contact details (already?) we still decided to try out the place. We reached the restaurant for lunch to find, to our disgust and dismay, that the shutters... read more
I've eaten at Oven Fresh (smack opposite Home Chef) many times and the food has always been good, but the sad part is that its a 'Pure Veg' restaurant. A friend recommended Home Chef so we decided to lunch there. It is a tiny, cozy place with a pleasing decor. There is a counter that displays the desserts, breads and other confectionery items.
We thankfully arrived by 12:30 and got the table of our choice since there weren't any customers at that time. If you visit the washroom, a word of caution: Mind your Head! :P :D
Once we were seated something started to nag me - the bottles... read more
A two hour break prompted me & 3 other friends of mine to venture out of college for lunch. One of them suggested Popsies; being new to Bangalore I just tagged along. Once you enter Popsies it takes a few seconds to get accustomed to the lack of light. The decor is mainly bamboo shoots and tiny lanterns above your table that are the only source of light. Not complaining at all, the decor is pleasant. The washroom is clean as well.
We ordered the Veg Fried Schezwan Momo & the Chicken Fried Schezwan Momo for starters along with 3 Cokes. The momos were delicious. Just the right amount of... read more
My friends & I went out for lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday and decided to skip dessert at the place we were lunching & took a much needed walk to Theobroma. After being seated and the menu cards being placed on the table, we waited for the server to show his almighty presence. Considering the heat outside, it was highly inhospitable on the part of the staff to not even serve water. We had to wait for a good 15 minutes till the server arrived & I ordered a Chocolate Shake. To my surprise the waiter replied, "The blender is broken." Fine! Problems happen. It didn't bother me much. I... read more
It’s been over a year since I visited Da Vinci, so decided to lunch there with a friend. We walked in on a Monday at 12:45 and to our surprise found the restaurant empty, save for the servers. The interiors of the restaurant are the same as I remember them with brown as the prevailing color. After being seated the server got us the menu. One look at it & I realized that they’ve hiked up their prices.
My friend is a vegetarian (what a waste!) so for starters we ordered the Jalapeno Fritters with Cheese & the server recommended the Chicken Fjitis (is that how its spelt?)... read more
