After having done the rounds of almost all Chinese/Thai-food-havens of the city we tried Far East. Simple set menus on Sunday afternoons and a non-complicated menu otherwise makes one feel less intimidated.
They manage very nice thai soups and an exceptional thai flat noodle dish. The only thing that has not been up to the mark has been the darsan that they sever. It leaves much to be desired.
Value for money. 5 adults and the meal costs us just over INR 3000/-. -

The table and chairs and the ambiance remains the same but the place has lost the charm it used to have. I guess it is due to poor service quality. Was there for lunch with a couple of colleagues and was disappointed at the service.
The tables were not getting cleaned frequently. the knowledge level of the staff was poor and if i could i would rate them a 0 on hospitality.
It has now become just another cafe. -

Nice live music, songs on request, good food and excellent bar tending. The bartenders are not only knowledgeable but they have a quite friendliness about them and thats what make this place a cut above the rest. If one wants to enjoy the new-world-taj hospitality then this place is a winner.
They served an amazing roti pe boti starter at a party - bite size but juicy and succulent. must try if its on the menu or if they can make it to order. -

After being told a couple of times by the staff at Renaissance to try this place we finally decided to go. On a lazy-rainy afternoon the mister and I landed in this vast expanse of space with nice furniture and nice staff. Like every other place in the city this had a Sunday buffet too which we decided to skip and are eternally thankful for that.
The buffet looked unimpressive and was priced prohibitively expensive @ 1800/- per person.

When in Powai we usually tend to go to Renaissance. going to NS - Big Mistake. Over endless rounds of Cutty Sark we ate the most insipid paneer tikka, pathetic Seekhs and equally poor Chicken Tikkas.
The dal was flat and the rotis limp. Although all of us have a sweet tooth, we did not dare order dessert. The knowledge of the servers was poor. The set menu looked not very well planned which we decided not to opt for. The best part was that the tables are well placed with a good distance between them.
I wouldn’t want to repeat this experience. -
