Pizza Port is our favorite joint in Bangalore, reminiscent of the excellent Smoking Joe's in Bombay that (unfortunately) never took off in Bangalore. Very generous with the meat and toppings, the flavors are rich and deep. The thin-crust is an excellent choice for Italian-style Pizza lovers. The best part, of course, is the price with loads of offers and freebies (usually buy one get one free type). The worst part is that they are not open in more locations around the city. Highly recommended! -

Tucked away next to the more famous Fuga is this almost invisible hole-in-the-wall called Plan B. Surprisingly, it is very spacious and well-lit inside. The music is good, the food is excellent and the service is quick. The crowd was also quite happening, though it did appear as if most people came in by chance (hence the name?). Definitely someplace I'd visit again! -

This is yet another Friends clone, the popular eatery in Koramangala. Right from the overused "word-art" in the menu to the type of food. Once the food arrives, the bones in the chicken burger and seeds in the juice prove otherwise. It is just another me-too. The service is even worse than the food, by the way. Food for three cost Rs.700. It's success lies in its awesome location, just off Jayanagar 4th Block, the huge student population in the area who've almost no other alternative in this predominantly idli-rice eating locality. That's the only word to describe the place. The food was very 'different' and maybe some people like it that way. The starters came with some odd imli-ketchup sauce and it was neither Indian nor Italian. Avoid! -

For the way the place looks, you wouldn't expect the food to be so authentic and well-made. Highly recommended. Prices could be a little easier for the ambience and location. But it is totally worth it. We loved the chocolate mousse dessert! Good service also. -
