Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
To Kill A Mockingbird, Blandings Castle.. to be honest I dont have a single favorite book. I just like to read whatever I can lay my hands on
Favourite Music:
Anything soft and soothing. I hate loud and jarring music which is an assault to the aural senses.
Favourite Foods:
I am an out and out omnivore, with a specific leaning towards seafood and meat. And when I try a new place, I like to be surprised by something out of the ordinary!!!
If there be a paradise for chocoholics in the city, it is here, it is here, it is here...
I walked into San Churro out of sheer curiosity and am so glad to have done it. This place is every choco-maniac's fantasy come true.
The chocolate fondue, which you can choose from milk, dark or white chocolate, is a must-have. The melted chocolate in a fondue pot is served with portions of pretzels, marshmallows, strawberries, banana slices, churros and brownie. And it is fantastic and fun, especially if you are sharing it with friends and want to josh around a bit.
This place, I was told, is quite a hit with students from the nearby colleges and it is easy to see why. With ample place to pull a plastic chair and sit around an aluminum table and talk away on a plate of piping samosa or chole bature. And at reasonable prices too!
The USP of this place is that all its food is cooked in desi ghee. And in addition to sweets and chat items, it serves complete meals as well. On a recent visit on a wintry evening, we had the missi roti and gatte ki kadi, which was very well prepared. The chole was nice and spicy, while the bature smelled of ghee.

I visited Saks because my favourite hair stylist for many years, Alam Sulaimani, started working there. And while I had expected that it will pinch my pockets, I was not prepared for the assault it waged on it!
A basic hair spa costs around Rs 1,500, while colour and hair straightening touch-u... read more
La Patio is a great al fresco place to dine at, especially during the pleasant winter evenings, like the ones we have been having recently. The place is well laid out so that you know that your conversations are not being eavesdropped on.
The beverages menu is pretty extensive. But we decided to chat up the bartenders and have them recommend some drinks for us. They suggested, and we tried, flaming tequila shots, which sadly did not light up due to the windy climate; kamikaze shots in a syringe, which did not give us quite the buzz we expected and the flaming absinthe shots.
When you go to a slightly upscale place that serves thali, there are a couple of things you expect as a standard – good service and friendly servers who coax to have just one more helping. If you are headed to Panchvati Gaurav though, then better cast these expectations aside, because they will be throttled heartlessly.
Around 10 of us made a reservation on a Sunday afternoon and a few of us reached there before the others. The steward then very rudely admonished us that all the people from our party were not present! He told us that he could have easily seated others in the 3 places... read more
