we all love chinese food, dont we? and when it comes to chinese pork preparations, i'm the first in queue. And this little place off hill road, and at the start of bazaar road is a gem when it comes to the oink delights! Our favourite orders? The pork spare ribs (either in chilly fry, or the black bean sauce), the pork stir fry and the pork or beef rice! Trust me, you are done! Excellent VFM! -

I curse myself, that i have been staying in the same neighbourhood as Khane Khaas and I've never tried the awesome food there, only coz i was blinded by the menus of Mini Punjab and Pal's. So luckily when i had been to my friend's place, where they had ordered from Khane Khaas, did i realise what i was missing. The tangdi kababs are simply out of this world. The prawns koliwada chatpata - lip smacking! And the best of the lot? The bheja fry, pakoda style. i have been a fan of copper chimneys all over, and have been to the oberoi outlet couple of times. they have a wonderful lunch buffet on weekdays, and i decided to have a nice lunch yesterday. to my horror, i was to face the most horrible buffet experience ever.....the dishes at the buffet counter were empty (almost all), the refills were extremely slow, the biryanis and other main course didnt turn up for 20 mins or so, no napkins on the table, no silverware, the desserts were just enough to feed a 2 yr old baby, and yes, no second helpings as...you guessed it right....they were empty. the staff... read more -
