Pratap's: The Dhaba Jogeshwari West | 77 reviews
The utensils stink like they need proper washing, the traditional uniform worn by the waiters is torn and needs cleaning, the upholstery has curry stains. Perfect setting for a dhaba you say ? Not really, the biggest disappointment is yet to come. The food. El grub. Here is what we had-:
Vodka Puri: Complete waste of alcohol & pani puri.
Chicken dhaniya adraki : Neither adraki, nor a tint of dhaniya
Chole Palak: Kacche chole...
mirchi parantha: nice. some redeeming qualities.
Missi/ajwain Roti: chewy
Total damages: 1500 /- & a lot of heartburn -

Typical & old fashioned. Courteous staff, the beer is chilled and served with the right savory snacks. Starters taste fresh and flavorsome. Fish is sumptuous. Nan is not chewy. Steamed rice is hot and non-sticky. -

They fuse into a single inseparable entity as soon as you set your foot in. You want to escape the nightmare, but you are being overpowered by a big group of waiters and in no time you are seated and reluctantly prepare yourself for the upcoming ordeal. You know your lunch is screwed. The kimchi crosses the fine line between fermented & rotten and the jasmine tea is served at room temperature. -

.. thats it. Not impressive, neither ugly. Food is average, ambience outdated and location terrible. and yeah... no restrooms. God forbid, if nature calls you are up for some unforgettable rollercoaster ride into insanity. -
