After hearing a lot of nice things we decided to check out Mash at Nungambakkam over dinner on a Friday night. We started out fairly early, just to make sure it wasnt crowded and were seated promptly. There were 4 of us, two vegetarians and two non-vegetarians. We ordered the seafood chowder soup and cream of vegetable soup and did not get our soups in a timely manner ( but this isnt really the problem). The waiter clearly told that this was the vegetarian soup and served the seafood soup to the lady who was a hardcore vegetarian ( and heavily pregnant), but this time she was completely put off... read more -

With a name like 3-kingdoms, I went in with high expectation but was severely disappointed with the mediocre service and most importantly the quality of food which was just sub standard. Its a complete rip off, considering the location and what they could potentially offer. There really isn't anything Chinese or Thai about this place! There are a lot of other places in the city with do justice to the type of cuisine and this is clearly not one of those. -

That is exactly my feelings about this over-rated place. I went there Saturday to order takeaway, the maitre di was this friendly lady who tried to help me out decide what to order for 2 people.
I ended up ordering a chicken Pulau and a spicy chicken curry (onion based) - beware just these two dishes can burn a VERY big hole in your pocket. At a price of 800Rs just for those 2 items, I felt it was exorbitant. There are a whole lot of other places that do biriyani/pulau a whole lot better at half the price or less. I really wish the owners of this place would stick to Pizzas and not try to do anything else. They seem to have got it right with the pizzas- light, thin crust, crispy with lots of toppings to choose from. They do absolute justice to it and they also have home made bread. So if they get to focus on what the place is supposed to be for and now deviate in offering - chinese, biriyani, it may bring it more people and not try to confuse people with the whole "multi" cuisine tag. This place is truly a hidden gem - in ever literal sense. Tucked off from all the hustle and bustle, I had heard about this place from a couple of friends and decided to check them out for dinner on a weekday night. The place had a warm and inviting feel to it, and that particular night there were fairly busy with a large party, we chose a quiet corner and got comfortable to check out the menu.
