Have visited Banjara, couple of times...always was of the opinion that it was a decent place. But on Valentines, dropped in there...totally disappointing. The ambiance created was pretty. The restaurant were divided into two halves, one had candle lights and the other didn't. Wondered why the difference, as according to me love is shared and is special with all near and dear ones. Anyways we settled in and called in for a Fish tikka, since we were four of us, we were advised that it would have 8 pieces. Been here on the 24th Dec evening..dim lights..candles to illuminate the table...just a perfect place to bring in Christmas. A group of children went around serenading carols...The ambiance as suggested was beautiful. They have this excellent buffet spread from soups/appetizers, to main course and the dessert. 24th evening wine and beer was on the house. To begin with the starters apart from chicken (quiet ggod) paneer (was ok, nothing great) and the excellent turkey, they had chats (dahi chaat and pani puri) - quiet weird to be served with wine..however you can give it a pass. Wonder if it is purely authentic....but it tasted decent...nice, quiet place,soothing music. The service is just okay, as it took us a while to really get one of the waiters to attend us....although once attended they remained prompt.
Nice place to go out with family, friends and for couples.... -

After a couple of circles around Indiranagar, we finally chose to settle off for Spaghetti kitchen...very importantly had valet parking...great ambiance...nice and well placed seating...
Since we were too hungry we decided to go for the main course and the Chef's special Pork Chops,which was indicated on the board. This place is just so very good! The place has its own charm where the ambiance, food, service all score good.
The food has left such an impact that it is sad i don't remember the exact names, but the taste still lingers in my tongue...to begin with the starters, a dish in prawn-bacon fry and fish - excellent....Oh i remember i ordered a grilled fish as main course - just superb....
The alcohol here too is very good, the price is well....had ordered a green apple martini - honestly the best i ever tasted...
This place sure calls for a "visit again"...as wana go back and try the other... read more -
