Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
As my office is in Worli, I tend to order the salads from Mumbai Deli for lunch quite often, though admittedly of late, my ordering frequency has reduced. Today's lunch experience however, has left me extremely disappointed and it's highly unlikely that I'm going to place another order at this place. A brief, sequential description:
1. I called at 11:40 am and placed an order for a large barley & zucchini salad and requested delivery by 1:00pm since I was in a meeting till then. I had specifically asked them to ensure that the delivery person has change for Rs. 500.
It'd take an absolute moron to not see through the slew of 'reviews' of this place...all reviewers joined coincidentally on Dec 14/15th to kickstart their reviewing careers with this place.
This reminds me of the episode in F.R.I.E.N.D.S. where Joey is part of an infomercial for a milk carton opener and says "Now I can have milk everyday"!!
I have not been to this place and given the apparent integrity of the owner / stakeholder, doubt that I ever would. However, I don't believe that not visiting the place is a good enough reason to point out unethical practices that mar the... read more

Thanks for the comment, but would request you to kindly judge us with the qaulity of food . And if you find its not worth 50Rs, we would be also grateful to you if you let us know the issue. But we are sure you would love the foods as we have simple concept "Will we pay same amount if some one else serves the same food"
DISCLAIMER: This review too is not about the establishment but on the owner's stance. In an endeavour to be fair, I have maintained the average rating of 2 stars that the establishment enjoyed prior to my review.
I agree with Drunken Monk - the spirit of this site / forum is to pen down honest reviews of experiences and if these are responded to in a litigious manner, why would anyone willfully take on that headache....there goes the raison d'etre of Burrp.com
Seeing his earlier amicable responses to customers' reviews, I am quite surprised that Mr. Shariff has chosen to... read more

hi
while i respect the independence of blogging...but facts need to be addressed.....
we at various instance have accepted flaws at our end and tried rectifying it... at the end we are humans..regading this incedent of strands of hair found in biryani, kabab and salan is a very serious allegation against us...as specified very cleary in my mail that the biryani and kabab are prepared at our central kitchen in different department and also are packed and sealed seprately ..the salan is packed at the respective branches.....some one claiming that all the three had strands of hair is quite...read more
It's been ages since I've been to a restaurant that's managed to keep a smile on my face from start to end...and a bit more even! Do allow me the indulgence of 'deconstructing' the journey that led to this fantastic experience that ended just over an hour ago.
My new found enthusiasm for fine dining places can be attributed to my recent obsession with Masterchef Australia (please, don't even bother with the Indian version). Having seen so many gastronomical delights prepared on the telly, the Missus and I decided that it's time to take a break from our usual haunts (Chinese Hut, Fishland,... read more
We wanted to grab some junk food for dinner last night and chose Casa as we hadn't been to the Indiranagar one for quite some time. We were the third table to be occupied and inspite of such a meagre 'crowd', it took us 8-10 mins to get a server's attention! Our order was fairly simple:
1 - Mickey Mouse (vanilla ice cream with coke, whipped cream and a cherry)
2 - Sloppy Joe (burger with chicken, chicken salami & cheese)
3 - Fish & Chips (obvious...) :)
Our ratings for these were:
1 - Mickey Mouse - 3/5 - it was flattish and no sign of the cream... read more
