Whatever they're whimsically calling "burgers" are disgusting. They're not meat patties, they're some kind of meat paste.
There's an aesthetic, a texture, and a taste that accompany a burger craving. When you order a burger, you're expecting a burger.
I have no idea how Gostana gets away with the trash they serve that masquerades as a "burger", but if you actually *like* hamburgers, do yourself a favor and order a hot dog. -

seriously.
i ate there, once, two years ago, and i was so disappointed. the food was nowhere NEAR as good as the "fine dining" claim, but the prices (4000 for 3 people, drinks and main course) certainly were.
but then i was there last week and i ate there and holy shit this chicken something in something anyway it comes in small pieces of chicken with this dipping sauce and yeah. it's fantastic.
also, i found out tuesday nights are hip hop nights. this is something i used to know, and then forgot.

i go to mia cucina ALL the time.
the staff are great, the owner's great. i don't know what the hell the others are talking about.
maybe it's just me, but i highly doubt anyone, in any restaurant, would ever attempt to insult me.
anyway, the pasta's fantastic. so's the fish, and the cheesecake.
the oven's been a constant disappointment to me, though. wouldn't recommend the garlic bread or the pizza.
go eat there, though. seriously.
oh, and if you're going on a weekend, go early; it fills fast, and they don't take reservations. -

one of the ONLY chinese places where in bombay where the chinese food tastes like chinese food, and not something covered in indian spices. expensive, but the ambiance is great, so it's well worth it.
the service is fantastic as well.

the food's great, but that's IT.
* there's no alcohol
* there's no ambiance
* there's barely any service.
it's seriously one of those steel thali kind of places, but the sizzlers are very, very good.
perfect for a meal by yourself, but not somewhere you should go if you actually want an evening out with friends/family/girlfriend/whatever. -
