If milk products - masala doodh, lassi, rabdi, basundi, sweets - etc are on your mind, this is the place to go to!
I had been recently to their Vasai dairy farm where there are huge (and I mean HUGE) cow-sheds housing at least 500 buffalloes and cows to feed the milk-hungry suburbs of Mumbai. Have a close look at the cattle and of course, gorged on the food.

Other awesome farsan available here is the kachori - you need to be on time to get this delicacy - it gets over in nearly no time! -

The restaurant is an authentic Goan food joint serving near home-style Goan food in a-la carte and thali format. The joint is frequented by the office going crowd who are tired of the Punjabi/Mughlai food and are out to entertain their clients (or themselves!) to some unique Goan fare. We had first been to this place for a banquet in the honour of our didi-jijaji's anniversary, but have been there since multiple times and have never been disappointed.
The food, normally veg.Punjabi is what we have, is great and the service is prompt. The show stealer is the ambience...where you can stay late in the evening, chit-chat and have your meal all at the same time.
The whole property is lush green and has lots of trees, etc. The restuarant has an indoor option and a bar as well.
A must visit, specially if you are going to that side of the town to visit... read more -
