HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT, INSATIABLE QUANTITY Dec 04, 2010

Well, I had ordered a Butter Chicken and 2 naans for dinner today and when it arrived I found that the quantity of butter chicken served was merely half the quantity that a competing restaurant like The Dhaba would serve. Usually when I empty the dish into my Corelle bowl it covers around 1.25 bowls whereas Kakori House's butter chicken only occupied half the bowl!
When I called them up to address the quantity issue, they repeatedly cut my phone, spoke to me rudely and shouted at me! Such kind of action is UNEXPECTED from a restaurant of Kakori House's reputation!

After fervently waiting for CPK to open, we finally graced the restaurant with our presence on the 29th of August, 2010.
The ambiance, though nothing out of the world, was very positive, contemporary and the place was buzzing with life.
What I noticed first was that there was a separate usher for every 2 tables- this means that you are provided with prompt service! Needless to say, my server was very polite and seemed like she had been trained very well.

I visited O22 for New Years, when they had recently opened.
It was an amazing experience. The staff was amazingly polite, hospitable, courteous, friendly and well-attired.
The chefs, waiters and staff had personally wished all of us a happy new year.
The dinner was AMAZING. This was easily the best buffet I had in Mumbai. They had a promotional offer for the evening. The mocktails part of the buffet. I tried all the drinks I've ever wanted to try. Mojitos, margaritas, some of their own specialties, etc.

Everyone's heard about Jewel of India.
Period.
Their Sunday lunch buffet is awesome.
1. Rs 499 per head.
2. Drinks, chaat on the house (kind of namesake, they only serve pani puri and papdi chaat)
Their chicken kebab was really good.
Great place to take guests out.
They didn't have many desserts, but every dessert had a unique taste.
Their chocolate cake was really rich and it melted in the mouth.
They had a better selection for non-vegetarians though. -

Kailash Parbat needs NO introduction.
1. Chaat Platter-- AWESOME. MUST TRY.
2. Aloo Tikki-- Crap.
3. Pani Puri-- You have to make it on your own.. No fun!
4. Ice Cream Sodas-- The blue one is awesome. You gotta try it out.. Don't have the kalakhatta. I personally didn't like it much.
5. Kesari Paneer Tikka-- BEST Paneer starter I've had. TILL DATE. I am not sure of the exact name, but it costs Rs. 170. It melts in the mouth..
6. Dahi Puri-- Awesome.
We filled ourselves with this and we never got to ordering the main course. :P -
