Some friends and I went to the Sunday Brunch. It's one of the cheaper options, the food is good, and the ambiance is wonderful (live acoustic guitar player? yes please!). We did have to be a little pushy about getting our drinks and sometimes had to ask several times before we finally got them. It was okay though.
The real kicker was when we were leaving. We asked the hotel for a cab, and they sent us home with one of their drivers. After driving for about five minutes we noticed he was slurring his words and wreaked of alcohol. My friend asked him if he was drunk and yes said,... read more -

This place is right next to my college. I stop here all the time when I'm craving South Indian food. The food is good, the staff is AWESOME and super friendly (they even recognize me and bring me a couple extra chutneys when I order neer dosa).
It's super cheap and tasty. I highly recommend neer dosa, mysore sada dosa, and banana uttapam. Yes, BANANA uttapam. Enjoy :) -

I've walked past this place a million times, and finally after staring at the menu online for an hour dreaming of the falafil I gorged on at home in Chicago, I decided to give this place a try.
I was happily surprised! It was soooooo good!! I had a Combo 1 (falafil sandwich, hummus, pita bread, and iced tea) and it was quite tasty. I wish the falafil sandwich had more falafil bullets in it, but there are enough veggies and sauces packed in there to keep me happy. The coffee and baked goods are really tasty and reasonably priced (I paid 50 rupees for a black coffee). They have small, snack-sized meals too, but I haven't tried any yet. I like coming here to sit and read when I have free time, but most people come in groups to hang out. There is indoor (A/C that is a little too cold for me) and outdoor seating (covered which is awesome during monsoon season).
Get the Gooey Chocolate Cake! It's awesome!
It looks a lot like Cafe Coffee Day. So if you like it there, you'll probably like this place too. -
