Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
We chose a Thursday to visit the much heard-of Peddlers Pub. The ambience was super cool, the basement part that is. This guy called Tomisin performs on Thursdays and he sung us a fantastic array of songs.
The food is pretty good though I'd stick to the Chinese since the murg malai tikka was a bit of a let down. The other appetizers - drumsticks, chili chicken, wedges and the likes were pretty good. They also had a 1+1 offer going for beer pitchers.
The ambience is right up there and makes for a pretty memorable evening that transforms into a dance floor as the night goes on. ... read more
So its Formula 1 weekend. We call up what is seemingly the best sports bar in Delhi to ensure if they were actually going to show it. LIVE After a "yes sir for sure", we made our way to Vasant Kunj, a good 45 minutes drive away.
Now the mall is impressive, the gates to this place even more and the unprecedented number of TVs a pleasant surprise. Since the race had a 1230 IST start and we had made our way in at 1225, we were pretty anxious to catch the start.

A bunch of 7 guys deciding to go to a place called 'Girl In the Cafe'. Putting off but nonetheless we decided to risk it.
An easy to miss entrance and three flights of steps later, we were at GITC. Were greeted with a well stocked bar and a surreal atmosphere.

A few enthusiastic people also volunteered to sing which was not appreciated by everyone present. The place is a hit with foreigners since there are probably few such places in the city. The place also converts... read more
Now, this place may not rival Paradise, Bawarchi or Hyderabad house (all in Hyd) for their biryanis but it does manage to provide what the name reads - Hyderabadi Biryani...
For starters, the place is not as well maintained as it was some 3-4 years back. There still is ample seating space but a sizable portion of that space remains in darkness. The booths for larger families are pretty comfy.
Coming to the food, we ordered a lasooni kebab and a chicken 65 for starters. I felt the kebabs could have been a little more mellow but full marks to the 65 !!! It totally transported me... read more
So we finally made it to 'The Big Chill Cafe'. We were asked to wait for 30 minutes which I hear is common procedure. Went for a 10 minute stroll only to come back and get a table immediately and find the place half-empty.
Straight to the food now....Baked Penne mozzarella, chicken risotto, chicken melt, antipasti platter and a steak (loin) comprised the mains. The penne was passable and the melt good. The steak was a little too tough to cut into but high on taste nonetheless. The risotto and the platter were disappointing. The accompanying oreo and belgian chocolate shakes were a treat... read more
