Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
I have only ordered twice from the place, and the second time around I ordered pretty much the same stuff I had ordered the first time, but I ordered those items again because I liked them so much the first time!
They have some unique flavors - I tried the Smoking Joe's Special, which is loaded with meat and has a very soft base, perfect to bite huge chunks of.
The veg pizza I ordered was also quite nice, though I can't recall the flavor now. The toppings were fresh and I wiped off two regular pizzas in no time.

I am all for Indian entrepreneurs getting into the ring against established international chains like Pizza Hut and Domino's, but it's difficult to support them if they churn out 'pizzas' these bad. Their website says that they are a UK-based company, which I seriously doubt, but maybe they are just trying to live up to the s**t they call food in England.
My bad experience began with the call to place the order itself. The lady taking the order took for ever to get my address and phone number down (and no, the address is not complicated). I ordered two pizzas in their 7-inch size and a... read more
It might be difficult to match up to Kolkata's famed rolls when it comes to the ambiance - standing beside a crowded, just-rained-on Kolkata street - but Hangla's (or at least its Malad outlet) sure leaves no stone unturned when it comes to the food.

The momos could have been better, but then my experience of momos in Kolkata hasn't been that great either.... read more
...and that's coming from someone who loves fish cooked the Bengali way - with a lot of mustard - and so has never much liked the fish in the Konkan or Mangalore cuisine.
But before the fish came the clams, prawns and crabs. And disappeared within moments. Accompanied by sounds of approval and contentment from everyone in my company - even those who are not exactly fond of seafood.
The service and the simple decor was also quite satisfying and helped focus on the amazing food without any unnecessary distractions. The waiter was extremely helpful in deciding on the dishes and... read more
I had made a memorable trip to Pakistan with college friends in 2006, and during our stay in Lahore, our host had helped us do a round of some of the best eating joints in the city. One of those memorable experiences included a breakfast of hot, soft Nihari and Khameeri Roti. A decidedly heavy meal, which still makes my mouth water on occasions.
Having spent a few years in Delhi, I also had the good fortune of trying out Nihari in the Jama Masjid area, but the less than clean environs do not encourage one to make frequent trips.
So, I had been looking for a long time for a clean... read more
