I had gone with a couple of office colleagues on a busy Friday night. Finding valet parking was difficult, then a table and then a beer. The place was very crowded and service sucked due to that as this place seems to be rolling in barrel loads of cash for the promoters. I had a couple of wheat beers and they were honestly good. the snacks were hopeless. Will I visit again ? maybe if someone else is paying as this place has just priced itself out of the regular hang out crowd market - maybe people will visit it for the novelty and pub grub needs to be improved..

On last saturday night had gone to Karavalli and it was a mistake from the start - the weather was really hot and sitting in a restaraunt which had pedestal fans meant the ambience was humid from the start. the service staff were courteous but we need to WAIT a lot for the starters & drink but munched on the free papads. the fish "meen pollichathu" was an apology and Kudla outclasses this any day - it was dry and tasteless. the chicken starter was outstanding. main course of hot appams and stew was decent. with drinks and desserts, the bill was 6k for 3. I won't be going here again.

I had gone to Chili's last night and I found the experience just ok for the price I paid.

Ambience - 2/5 (could have been better but they switched off the a/c and at 7:30 pm it was sweltering and I asked why is it so hot and they said "just switched a/c saar!!"

Food - 3/5 (service was prompt and efficient and service staff courteous)

Value - 2/5 (3k for 3 on happy hours with only 1 alcoholic drink)

Will I go there again - Only when someone else is paying i.e. office !!

I've been to Fat Chef twice in the last fortnight, once on a mid week evening and once again on a sunday afternoon. My take is;

a) Mains & Desserts: 4 to 5/5

b) Ambience: 4/5 (could be better if they could do something on the mosquitoes in the evening and the heat during lunch times as there is no a/c)

c) Salad: 3/5 (I had ordered Caesar's Salad and Greek Salad and thought had scope for improvement - my reference point being Toscanos, Sunny and Herbs n Spices)

d) Value for Money: 4.5/5

Do I look to come back again ? Of course and would recommend to
