Visited the place on Saturday night with friends - first visit. What struck me is the great ambience, courteous staff and ofcourse loads of chocolate in various form. The top floor seating is spacious for dessert place (which is a surpirse in Bandra).
Great place to for dessert, and recommended visit for all (they do serve other flavours also). Reasonably priced as well. Just dont order the 7 layer cake for only yourself!! Too good, too big! -

Visited the place on Saturday night with friends - my second visit. Being a foodie, the 16 inch pizza (size) appeals to me a lot! Good pizzas, especially the smoked bacon and onion. The 16 inches could have had more topping, I felt. And i miss the alcohol.
The staff are very courteous, patient and attentive (i did not have to wait more then 10 seconds for my next pizza slice, as soon as i finished one). On an auspicious occasion on a Sunday, Cafe Madras was not crowded!! What else...we went in for some snacks.
One rule of eating - ask the waiter what is good that day (even if its a small place -works for me). He suggested the 'set dosas' and I asked for extra homemade butter on the dosas.
The dosas were like cotton candy, just melted in my mouth. And the butter added flavour along with the chutney. We order two more plates (between three people) , and again two more plates! Delicious...... I still dream of them during weekdays, waiting for the weekend when i can visit... read more -

First of all let me say - I am from Bangalore (South Indian, if you please). So every time I come across a South Indian restaurant, I have to try. Cafe Mysore is my regular eating place and I have always had very good food experience.
Usually the place is crowded, but when a group of hungry guys want to eat, they do adjust and squeeze in with the other customers (the tables accomodate 6 people). Their masala dosas and the rava dosa are excellent, with the right amount of crunchiness. The Idlis are soft and melt-y. The lunch thali requires some improvements though. Our office usually orders cakes for birthday of our colleagues. This time they ordered from Celejor Colaba. Oh boy was the cake good...it was superb! This was called 'dark temptation'. The chocolate cream was melting and the cake itself was delicate and delicious. Filled with walnuts.
I, who was on a weight watch, could not help but to go for the second helping, and a small third - all from the corners and borders of the cake (to get more cream).
