Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
The Pomfret Rava fry is good. There are times you will encounter a not-so-fresh a catch and the waiter will fail to acknowledge it
The Thalis come with a big serving of gravy (Chicken/Jhinga/Fish), a big serving of boiled thick rice (quite flavorful), a small bowl of sol kadi, a small bowl of extra gravy, accompanied with 3 chapatis/bhakhri or Vade (you get 5 vades in the thali)
You will most definitely not be able to split that thali with 2 people, and having... read more
So I remember going to this place during the world cup 2011 finals and a few more times earlier as well.
The food here is pretty good. I'd recommend getting the Chicken Shashlik Sizzler and the Chicken burger to complement the spicy fries and the mayo dip.
Their Spicy Chicken Wings, Honey Glazed Chicken and Fish Fingers are some of the favorites around here.
The service is kinda slow with lots of waiters just running all over the place giving an impression that it is not well managed, and that's true. You will end up repeating your request to get your glass of... read more
So it was Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings this past weekend at Wankhede Churchgate and this was a last minute option to go in for good dinner after a few drinks at the Sports Bar Cafe next to Regal Cinema.
Ambiance:

No place for an extra chair in the gangway, which is just about 2 feet wide. The place smelled kinda weird to me. it was like stale milky rubbery smell. Just weird. Lighting was just about OK.
So this place is Burrp! certified. Not sure by whom, or the bigger question, WHY.
Late Sunday night, we walked in at about 11pm after a movie and grabbed a seat. The captain said he will take the last order so we had to make it quick and get it right once.
The Chicken Manchow soup was watery and had way too much of garlic in it. The add-on-top fried noodles were badly anorexic.
Chicken Angarey and Butter Chicken gravies were exactly the same, except that the latter had sugar in it. Both the gravies were blood red in color. Bad.
The tikkas were equally bad and underco... read more
Discovered this family-run Bakery on Burrp and is a 15 minute walk from work. As you approach this place from around the corner, the smell of freshly baked bread overwhelms you.
Ambiance:
About 3 tables outside the bake shop to seat around 10 people. The items on display are absolutely Y.U.M! One section is purely for their desserts and the other one is for their quick bites like rolls/puffs, etc. There are more desserts on top of the dessert counter and is full of muffins, cookies, home made chocolates and brownies.
A huge whiteboard menu confuses you on what to get. They... read more
