Beef fry-parotta, beef biryani, yeteka aapam (banana fritters with special Kerala bananas) and kappa (tapioca). I'm hungry again!!!
This place looks like one of those shady joints, but the service and the food will make you change your mind. One of the few places where I've eaten good Kerala cuisine and really nice beef. Just one thing... don't go there and shout "beef". Ask for the special mutton biryani or the special mutton fry with parotta.

Want to step out for an after dinner coffee? Do not step in to Costa Coffee!
We entered at midnight and this outlet at 7 Bungalows had quite a few people sitting around sipping on their coffees. So assuming they are going to stay open for a while we plonked ourselves on one of the corner tables and went in to order. They took our order and even served us in good time. But that's where the good times ended.
Just when we were about to take our first sip, both the fans went off. When we asked the waiter to check, he said it's not working. Umm.. it was working just 2 minutes ago...... read more -

Tandoori chicken is one of my most favourite dishes and China Suburb gives it a brilliant twist - Schezwan Tandoori Chicken!!! It's the usual preparation doused in lots and lots of schezwan sauce. Absolutely yumm especially if you like spicy food. Their mutton preparations are also excellent. The meat is tender and cooked just right. However avoid their biryanis... they way are below average. -

I'm a regular at WTF and have now come to realise that the biggest reason for its success is probably that its the only place of its kind in that area... first mover advantage!!! The prices are great, the drinks are regular and the food is great but the damn place feels like a Virar Local! I love the place but I hate that its overcrowded.
P.S.: Do try their beef preparations... they are awesome! -

Dined here a couple of nights ago with a few friends. When we entered around 8pm, there was a private party on... some teenagers birthday... so the music was really loud. Nonetheless we grabbed table upstairs (yes, there's two floors). Thankfully the party ended in about ten minutes and by 8:30 the live band took the stage.
The ambiance is really nice with very chic interiors. Quite a big place two with two spacious levels. Service was ok with the waiters kinda getting lost in their own world every now and then. But the food made up for it. What did we eat?
