I had been to Woodstock last Thursday (ladies/couples night) and loved the ambiance. As the restaurant wasn't crowded, we were seated on the balcony. Although small with only three tables, being seated there made us feel great..maybe it was the breeze. It must have been a large bunglaw that has been converted into a restaurant and beautifully so!
As it was 'happy hours', we got a two cocktails at the price of one. The menu prices for these cocktails varies from Rs. 350 to Rs. 450, which I'd say is quite expensive. However, they were not watered down at all.. which was great!

Decent variety of bread..garlic bread and panini are good but their sour dough bread was impossible to bite into. The crust is too thick.
About the Hebbal outlet which is located on the ground floor of Esteem mall, it has the complete menu available alright but only 3 tables. The couches are comfortable..but its not the kind of ambiance that makes you hang around for a while. The whole seems to shout out 'gulp your sandwich and leave'. Sourdough bread to die for.
@70 bucks for a small loaf, its not cheap. For those who have had the real deal, this is THE best in B'lore - beats any cakeshop of the five stars hollow.
Wonderful texture with crisp outside and chewy inside with that amazing taste of superb sourdough. Had it with some cold homemade cheese spread--super combo for a rainy afternoon :-)

Is there a need to point out what other people have said? Maybe you should check the bread at your Hebbal outlet instead of pointing to me what Indira Nagar and Lavelle Road outlets sell. Like I said in the review, I have been to multiple outlets of Breadworks and will even rate them high.
Each customer has his or her own opinion and there's no need for you to point out that of others.

Then the only explanation is that the Esteem Mall outlet sells old bread. Atleast, the samples are old enough to dry out. Was it the AC? You need to look into it.
Let me give you a fair second chance. I'll be visiting on Sunday afternoon as usual (a regular customer). If the entire experience is great, it shall be reviewed here honestly to make amends for this review. WE don't want to drag this discussion endlessly. Note that all our artisan breads are made fresh everyday and we don't sell them beyond 8-12 hours ( our sliced breads are exceptions to this which is sold beyond 12 hours. ) All our unsold bread if any are distributed to various orphanages and charity organizations in Bangalore. If we are so far not able to convince you on bread works it is a pity. We will keep trying everyday to make more and more delighted customers.

The title is a variety of chaat Sai Chats (Sai Ram Chats, actually) offers. A cult landmark in Malleshwaram, this hole-in-the-wall eatery offers 50+ versions of the quintessential roadside snack we grew up eating. Try disco chat, ting tong chat or (if you are less adventurous) chips masala and you will not be disappointed. Their milkshakes deserve a special mention here.
There's also another branch of this eatery a few crosses away..near Vidya Mandir that serves equally yummy food. Both shops are crowded throughout the day, mostly with students grabbing a quick bite to eat so you have... read more -

We went to SSS for lunch to celebrate our first anniversary. As it was a Monday afternoon, we didn't think of making a reservation and it wasn't a problem at all. Let me tell you guys..we had no idea SSS was a themed restaurant so you can say we found the ambiance was overwhelmingly beautiful! Since it wasn't crowded, we were seated inside the train. :)
After spending a good five minutes looking around, 'ooooh'ing and 'aaah'ing, we placed our order. Then arrived a complimentary bowl of breadsticks with dipping sauces to make sure we didn't remain hungry till our food was ready..how thought... read more -

We went to BBB in mid August, on a weekday afternoon. The place was empty and we were happy, having heard how crowded it usually is. We were seated at one of the tables near the entrance but had to shift as we saw a huge cockroach making merry on the parapet next to our table! Yes, insects are common at places that have outdoor seating amidst plants but I do hope the management takes enough precaution to avoid creepy crawlies.
