Being an ex-jai hind student, this place had to be visited. Even one of my new years was celebrated here and let me tell you it was MIND BLOWING experience.
The place just never fails to amaze me and the best part is, this place looks so expensive and obviously being on marine drive any place would be expensive...but its not as much as it looks. For 2000, two people can have a really nice time with booze and yummy deserts.
Do try the chicken tikka masala and the bar tender makes a pretty good Long island Iced tea.
and if you are lucky enough you might run into a celebrity! -

It was my sister's birthday and these people were more than happy to arrange few things specially for the event at a wee bit extra cost which was okay for me.
The live music is big YES if you like music and the ambience is just alluring.
I love the umbrella's hung on the ceiling and the changing colors which just make me feel good.
Coming to food, there is nothing on the menu that disappoints, I really loved the white pasta!
Service is a bit slow and bad co-ordination but then that's okay if you are having a good time.

After a lot of pressure from my best friend, I had to visit this place. I am not really a fan of places in Powai but well this kinda changes my preference.
Rude lounge is opposite to the powai lake right on the highway pretty easy to find unlike most places in Powai, cause the whole area just looks the same.
This place is a bit small compared to most lounges but they cover it well up with the ambience, music and the food.
It's not expensive at all, for a good 1000-1500 you can fill your tummy and get sloshed if you'd like.

I went here like a year ago, haven't been there again but I'm pretty sure it's still the same. The ambience is pretty chilled out! A bit dim which just suit the mood perfectly!
A lot of indianess to the food and the drinks which is a total win!
They have happy hours which is like jannat when you are in a mood to get high!
They have a very limited menu for veg food! Which is okay and understood! But yes full marks to the food, there is this some red chutney kinda thing they give which is just simply yummy!

To begin with I didn't really find the ambiance that appealing, it felt just too white. Understanding that its a wedding cafe but then weddings are not all white in my view. Moving to the seating, i would have appreciated iron or steel chairs, wooden chairs feel just too cheap for the place.
The food was okay nothing out of the world and the enchiladas that we ordered were just so spicy that we had to leave it. coming to the deserts, they were just ordinary.
