Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
I had tried these guys out a while back. Great service, carrier delivered to your house and picked up the next day when new career is delivered. Very comfortable.
Here is the issue though, they weere never fixed on times. Some times the box is delivered at 7.30pm, some times at 8pm and some times even at 9.30pm!! I want to go home and eat, at a fixed time, and i used to find this very irritating.
The food - not very oily, pretty decent tasting.....but again, no consistency. Some times the food is fresh and few times it smells funcky. The taste - one thing he was consistent in... read more
Located on the busy Krishna Temple road (parallel to CMH road), this place is quite a find. When you walk in, the ambience of the place just hits you. The low but not dim lighting i perfect to enjoy a gooddinner. The whole decor, from the tiled roof, to the shade of the wood, all just to go along really well.
The place also has some board games. We decided to play Jenga!!! The owner walked up to us and spend some time explaining what's on the buffet and offered us some home made juice. I'll be honest, the juice wasn't the best! e took some time talking to us and even asking us... read more
It is called "Chocolate Lounge". Definitely lives up to the lounge. Reminds me of an expensive Cigar and wine lounge, with the wood flooring, plush leather couches and nice lighting.
The Chocolate part leaves more to be desired. I mean, the entire milkshake section has nothing specifically chocolate. Even the cakes, the choice is really small for some place which has chocolate in the name. Don't get me wrong, the taste is great, but it doesn't live up to the hype the name creates.
Places like Painted platter and Corner House have more chocolate variants in the menu!!
The place has a very interesting entrance. I reminds me of a posh american bar, with a huge wooden wall with see through glass rectangles. Gives i a "awe" kind of feeling. When you enter, there is nothing special about it, but there is something that hits me, but I didn't quite know what. Found my family and went and joined them at the table. They had already started ordering, so I quickly squeezed in a ham pizza.
I had no clue what wine to pick with the food we ordered so I asked for some help. Must say, the guy had a good taste. Gave me this french shiraz, which was great and went really... read more
We visited this place about a week back, wanted to have a "quick" lunch. We looked at the prices mentioned on the menu, and were in two minds - new restaurant or light wallets!
Well we decided to stay. Lets start with the ambience - plain, boring, and nothing special. But i Loved it!! It is so simple, it is nice. Since we were the only group in the restaurant, I can't comment about how "noisy" the place can get.
The Menu: Great choice! Mostly western coast food (no Andhra or Bengali fish). We had mallus, andhraites, mangalorean, punjabi, gujju (veggie), chinese and a british... read more
