Paradise is dubbed as this old-world colaba joint with authentic Parsi fare. I visited with my family and was greeted with a smiling face. The Parsi lady who owns the place is really sweet, we called her for directions... *thrice*...she was patient and sweet. Though she kinda misled us ;) Anyway I'll just list the positives and negatives..

Yum Parsi food..try the dhanshak and salli boti
Home-like cheese pasta, nice Fish & chips..i like!
CONS
Small portions (one dish serves one)
Caramel custard was so-so...try Lagan nu custard

So this is a takeaway/ home-delivery place with just 3 chairs. I chose to sit and eat at the store. We called for California rolls (crabmeat sushi). I dont think they were extraordinary...but not bad. Loved the Wasabi but the dark soy sauce along with it was kinda weird. Priced at 300 bucks for 8 pieces...so I'm paying almost 40 bucks per piece. Is it worth it? Only if you're really really craving for sushi. -

I've been to many outlets of Costa, from Juhu to Khar to Lower Parel to Powai and Vashi. Some have been consistently good, others give Costa a bad name. When I first saw Costa on Central Avenue Rd - easily Chembur's busiest and most popular road, I was thrilled. We've lived with Barista and CCD for over a decade. Barista -not bad. CCD, don't even get me started. Chembur so needed a Costa. Thank you God! But I was worried that Costa, Chembur would not live up to some of its stellar cousins. I totally have to agree with the burrpers who've mentioned the bad service.. and wish i had read the reviews before going to Ivy. But then again, I've been quite a regular at Ivy because it is as close as you can get to gourmet food in Chembur/Ghatkopar. The food till date, is cooked to perfection and the presentation is exceptional. Try the paneer kurkure, fish curry (parents loved it) and the malwani fare. The chinese is best avoided. The desserts are presented in a big, tempting tray...an offer you cant refuse.

Heard very good reviews of this newly opened spa and decided to check it out on a lazy afternoon. I'm no spa junkie but whenver I do visit spas, I'm a very discerning customer. Right from the magazine rack at the reception to the thoughtfully placed napkins in the washroom, I noticed every single detail. The decor was very beautiful, dimly lit, mildly scented and spanking clean.
