I returned to Medici after a long time as i have been traveling and it was good to be back. The food is still fantastic, the best in town and the service is still spot on. The have a new menu, which was good to see. Though my old favorites were not there anymore (grilled scampi).
I ordered the Bruchetta (non veg) which was nice and fresh, though i wish the bread was more of bagguette. My friend ordered the wild mushroom consome, which she loved. One of the most misleading reastaurants I have been to. Ass soon as you walk into that place, you are taken by the beautiful ambienece and then you automatically expect the food to come close to that standard if not better.
But what was sereved to us was terrible. My friends are I (the 4 of us) did not finish anything we ordered. Un applealing and just tasteless food. Even the service was sloppy and slow.

The only saving grace of the day was the drinks, which were not bad at all. but definetly not enough to make me want to come back there again. -

Its pains me to do this. Only a few months ago, i was raving about this place and even wrote a very positive review.
The last 2 times I went there, there was a drastic drop in the qulaity and standard of the food. I dont know why this happened, but it happened. And trust me, there is tear running down my cheek as write this...

One of my fav restaurants in Bombay. I totally love this place. visit every chance I get. The food is pretty awersome. Qucik and priced just right. Love the ambience. Love the music.
The sandwiches are my fav. Eat them every chance i get.
Special mention about the staff. Very friendly and very courteous. Ask for manoranjan, he is very efficient.

The place to be, thats whats everyone seems to be tellin me as soon as i got into bombay. So i decided to go there with some friends, most of whom hadnt been there before.
We walked in on Saturday afternoon. The place was full and we had to wait for table.
Now for the good points. The place is done up beautifully. Right up my alley. It reminds me of The Tasting Room, another favorite restaurant of mine.
