The sign for this place is obscure that it wont be surprise of you miss it. The menu consists of food that you must have eaten a 100 times before. The ambiance is nothing to write home about. But if you want a quiet drink and go unnoticed, then this is the perfect place. -

I always felt that all the great eating places are always at the most obscure corners of a city. That is exactly the case with Jong's. Situated at the corner of Park Street, one can easily miss this place. But if you manage to spot this joint then rest assured, you are in for some great food.
Decorated in a typical oriental way, the place excludes class from the minute you enter. The menu boats of Chinese, Thai and Japanese cuisine. Flurys have always been a classic joint. From the ambiance to the food that were served, everything was top notch. But sadly not anymore. At my recent visit to the place, somethings were very wrong.
1. The service was extremely slow as we had to call a waiter at five times till he showed up.
2. The items on the menu looked unspiring.
3. The dish we finally ordered was tasteless and cold. It felt like it was 5 days old.
4. The coffee they served had absolutely no flavour.

I had heard so much about this place that it was time I paid it a overdue visit. Went on a Tuesday night not expecting much. After all, it was a weekday! But how wrong was I !! The place was packed with ardent music lovers who would travel miles for some great live music.
And thats exactly what I got! The band started at 10.30 and the place just burst with life! The music was excellent..the ambiance didn't give me a chance to complain and since I was alone..a friendly bartender made sure I was not bothered by single men. What happens to a place when it gets a few decent review?
It goes down the drain obviously!
The first time I visited this place, I loved it!
So i dragged my friend there for a quick bite but unfortunately my experience with this restaurant recently left me scarred.
It was a simple order. A Chicken Burrito, A Teriyaki Roll with a plate of fries. Now I wonder, how can somebody screw up such a simple order?????
