One sunday morning. One irritating bhaaji(veg) for lunch at home. One click on burrp. "Try Masalacraft" the review said. One growling stomach. One brilliant idea... use all ur "girlie power" to irritate ur bf to drive u down to bandra from thane for lunch. It worked (hah!).
We made our reservations on the phone while driving. The first time i called the man on the other side said " Saab aaaye nahi hain, baadmein unko phone karneko bolta hoon." which never happened. I called up again and i guess the "Saab" was at work. Swiftly he took my details and reserved a table.

Im not just writing about this place coz its owned by my elder brothers friend but also because i have been going to this place for over a decade!! it all started in a tiny space near thane station and has now grown leaps and bounds....
Dont enter this place expecting a 3 star ambience, it caters everyones pocket and pallate by serving authentic indian chinese and some tandoor dishes.... The tandoori chicken is worth a million bucks but costs only 70rs(half) and 120rs(full). The typical chinese dishes like chicken chilly dry (55rs) & Manchow soup (rs40) are filling and delicious. Agreed, this place was thanes "HOTTIE" once upon a time...unfortunately instead of learning from their past mistakes and re-inventing themselves they have made sure that their arrogance and hideous food remains...
Close ur eyes and stop ur finger at any item of the menu and order... dont worry ask ur friend/company to do the same... its a guarantee that both dishes will taste the same.... the crispy chicken is never ever crispy, the chicken in chinese 5 spice maybe needs to consider the meaning of 5 spice... any rice or noodle u order is either too bland or full of vegs (No consistency... read more -

Ive been to this place so many times now that when i took my parents(i usually visit with my friends) there, they were given a royal treatment !!!
Okay.. so start with the Urban Tadka special nimbu paani.... its a nimbu paani with a zing and a sugarcane stick to chew on! ... u cud also try the masala soda if u like ur stuff really spicy... it comes with big peppercorns and chillies!!!! brilliant stuff....
