I have in the past rated Kakori House kababs as having the best Mutton Biryani and Galawti Kababs in Mumbai. That was about 2 years back ...
The problem with these guys is that they have become too greedy ! I know costs have gone up but not by 70-80% !!! They have increased the price of mutton biryani from 200 to 280 and Galawti kababs from Rs. 195 odd to Rs. 300 !!! Ridiculous
At that price point and for the small quantity of kababs (4 pcs), I can eat at a fancy Indian restaurant with far far better ambience, quality of food and service. Gave it a miss after seeing their crazy -

The outlet is run by a very friendly amicable guy who is brutally honest to say the least. Told him about how much I love their original outlet and he was quite happy to provide all info. After the mouth watering food sampling experience at Cafe Mangii Versova, I could not but give this place another shot. Last January I had a terrible experience just after they opened the outlet and after a year, I would have expected that they have got the act right - especially being part of the best Italian Restaurant (Khar outlet) in Mumbai, where after years of regular visit I have not been dissapointed yet.
We wanted to have our favorite, two of the best dishes we had at Versova - Fusilli Mamma Rossa and Lasagna. Both were such a dissapointment and nowhere close in taste or texture... read more -

Don’t get me wrong … it’s one of the best Kailash Parbat’s we have been to. The new restaurant is really nicely done, with good parking available. Saki Naka seems to be developing into a happening food destination and this is one of the latest openings. The place is very spacious and perfect for office lunches and evening out with family. The staff is very friendly … serving with a smile. We ordered our favorite chole bhature and they said it came with ‘medium’-sized bhaturas. We wanted to try this outlet especially after it was recommended by many from burrp and friends… took a while to find the place. Right from the welcome, what stands out are the smiles on the faces of the staff, incl. the owner. We decided to sit downstairs but could feel there was more action on the first floor. There was a huge Bong gang with guitars etc. for a lovely Sunday party and they were having a blast.
