Its 5.58 am at BSK, the sun rays hasn't yet touched ground. at least a 100 two wheelers parked on a quite, sleepy main road & most of its owners jogging and walking at a beautiful park adjacent to the road. Opposite to this park, a small shop opens it half closed shutters. Suddenly a crowd gathers and trying to buy coupons. This is the daily routine for many people.
4 items in the menu to choose from..... Soft idlys, crispy vadas, kharabath and Kesari bath on top of it... no Sambar!!! That's right... thats the entire menu. Like it or leave it... But... no one leaves this place without... read more -

I had been to this restaurant with 2 of my colleagues, as one of them was longing to eat some pure vegetarian food. The restaurant is in the second floor with very narrow staircase and very less lighting. You got to be careful here.
The restaurant has decent ambience and the furniture is pretty comfortable. We had been on a Friday for dinner at around 8 pm and to my surprise, we were the only customers in the entire hotel which can accommodate atleast 60 people!!! The place is very close to the SEZ with a lot of MNCs around it.

Ganesh Darshan, an average hotel in the busy shopping area of Jayanagar, opened up a counter beside its restaurant and named it 'Dosa Camp' and sold HOT, CRISPY Dosas with a free coffee for Rs. 5. Well don't drop your jaws down... This was around 16-17 years ago. Since then, this 'average hotel' has never turned back. Today, it is the BEST Dosa Joint of the city. I have been eating at Cool Joint, literally from day 1. That is, close to 12 years now. This place makes me come back every time..... Reason, awesomely tasty Sandwiches at affordable prices. Not only that but very tidily maintained kitchen area.
The sandwiches are prepared hot, at the customer's request and if required, they customize it for you.
Not just for sandwiches, one could have some nicely prepared ice-creams, milkshakes and fresh fruit juices.
