Let me get straight to the food. We ordered a lot for two people, 1 soup, one salad, one starter, two main courses, two drinks and two desserts.We tried the Turquoise trio dessert platter with a sampling of three of their desserts. Two of the three desserts were good. But the chocolate fudge pate was so yummy that it made up for it. I loved the Chicken Vol au Vent starter too. -

I ordered in from the kora outlet one crazy night replete with trainings and conference calls. One spaghetti meatball pasta, one smoked chicken sausage pasta, two caramel custard portions and a bill worth 450/-
I loved the pasta - even better than Little Italy by a long shot. But I was disappointed in the caramel custard - no, no, not the taste but the portion size offered for the price. The texture was not right either. I was quite shocked to see this is what's offered for 45/-!
Having said that, I have pasted the menu on my fridge and will order in again soon. -

We couldn't get a place at the unusually crowded Nagarjuna so walked to Malgudi. Surprise! Surprise! There were too many empty seats, which we thought was a little unusual for Bangalore on a Saturday afternoon.
We could have killed for a bite so hopped in anyways and ordered the Veg Thali @ 90 rupees plus tax.
I don't think I will ever look at an Andhra Thali the same way again...it was godawful and each morsel I ate, I thought of the wonderful food at Nagarjuna that I missed. -

On my first visit to Bangalore I had jowar roti meals from Kamat Yatri Nivas in Minerva Circle...I simply loved the meal. It costed 90 rupees even in 2005. Since we love trying out new vegetarian options, we hitched an auto over to the Bull Temple Road Kamat Bugle Rock. There was a live carnatic concert happening. Even though we ordered for special meals, the waiter forgot to give us ghee-hollige, bajji, sweet etc. Was not impressed with the food in general! -

Tried the weekday buffet with its 3-4 starters, dim sum etc and i should say I have eaten nicer momos from the snakart near nilgris. -

all i can say in our defence is that
a. we use only authentic ingredients in every item on the menu. if you run through feedback on burrp itself besides our talking to customers you will see that the burnt caramel flavour and soft texture is quite loved. INR 45 includes tax that we pay the government and considers a slightly more elaborate process of making. It used to be INR 35 + tax when we started, many moons ago, a price point that we have retained for our other desserts even now.
