An all time favourite for Italian food, the great thing is, this is one of the excellent Italian food places that takes Sodexo coupons. The bacon mushroom soup is brilliant, all the pastas are great and cooked to perfection,. The meats are excellent, and I definitely recommend the spare ribs. The grilled fish is always well cooked, and the lemon butter sauce adds a whole new dimension to this divine dish. The range of wine is fair, and both the reds and whites make a great accompaniment for any dish you may choose to have here.

Be it for breakfast , lunch, dinner or even a mid time snack, it has to be accompanied by beer and music from the jukebox! The breakfast is great, with the english breakfast being my favourite - bacon, ham, sausages and eggs - its the ideal way to start a lazy Sunday morning. The food is a good compliment to the beer, and thei Italian and continental fare is pretty good. This was the first place I had bacon wrapped prawns and was not disappointed. Its a favourite, and have spent close to 8 hours at one table, on a Sat, and yet there is never the chance of getting bored. -

It was with great anticipation that i finally stepped into Sernyaa. Having heard about this place from a couple of foodie friends, I had been dying to go there. The place was not xactly what I expected, and was more like the oriental version of New Martins in colaba, in terms of its look and ambience. A small place, with booths for the customers to sit, its cute. The menu has a large variety, though not everything is Tibetian. It verntures into Chinese and Japanese as well. We walked in because the tickets to the movie we wanted were sold out. Also out of lack of anything else to do, we decided to check out the place.
First, the ambiance is great. Set outdoors, it has a very sidewalk cafe feel. With umbrellas creating a small ,almost private space, it was great. A little cramped though, with tables placed very close together, it was still a lovely experience.
The tables are scattered along the entire path, where one gets a nice view of the delectable dessert counter.

Been going to Martin's ever since I landed up in Mumbai, and nothing beats the Goan food here. the pork vindaloo is my favourtie, while the prawns and fish curry rice combo is pretty awesome too. Sticking to pork or seafood here is a good idea. Not much around town beats the stake served at martin's, though be warned, it is not a place for the calorie conscious. If you plan to visit, make sure you reach early, and are starving. that alone will do justice to the place!
