Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
Went out for lunch buffet on 29-Dec. The Buffet is decent for the price. Soup and starters are served at the table along with an non-alcoholic drink/fresh juice. Onion Rings were ok. too much chat masala on them. The Garlic bread and cheese balls were good. For the main course, the live pasta counter serves out some decent dishes. There is 3 verities of pizzas avlbl as well. The thin base pizza is very good. Light and fulfilling. The deserts are passable. Ice cream, brownie and fruits. There was a cup of cheesecake which I am not sure was cheese cake.

Dear Matrixguy,
Many thanks for the feedback and I appreciate your detailed observations on the buffet. Am glad that some aspects have gone down very well with you, and the others are definitely pointers to us for improvement. Let me assure you that we are not content in serving to our guests just "decent food", so we are indeed going to work hard to convert this feedback to "excellent food". Most importantly as noted by you and others, quickly rework on the service training and communication aspects of some of our newly recruited junior staff, thereby giving a consistent and far superlat...read more
Was looking around on burrp for a new restaurant and came across Veekes and Thomas. the location indicated on the map is not correct but I got the correct directions on the phone. The starters and antipasti menu is quite exhaustive and you actually will end up eating more of these than the main course .. No complaints though they are all good. We started with Jalapeno poppers, grilled potato skins and black olive bruschetta. Ordered some lime soda as well. All 3 starters very were of top quality. For the main course we had Cannelloni, Pasta Arrabitta and Veg Steak. Of the 3 the Veg steak... read more

Hey thanks much. The canelloni is actually freshly made by us on order, though we will check on the spinach. 9 items costed you inr 100 each which is high considering that 2 dishes are priced at 35 each and 3 at 75 each inclusive of taxes. This totals inr 335(incl the drink) 3 vegetarian dishes for the main course should have costed you inr 350 tops including taxes, making your bill total 685 for the 4 of you for the dishes you mentioned not 900. if there has been a problem with my reasoning do return with your bill for a refund of the charge. Further, the restaurant is a 40 seat restauarant though...read more
Need a perfect way to screw up your Saturday evening ? Head to The Other Cresent. Took my family (wife and 2 kids) out for a quiet dinner and we ended up spending 2 hours of pure torture.
It starts with the person taking down your name for the waiting list. They have no co-ordination between the person seating patrons in the restaurant and the person taking down the names. I saw people who came after us being led up but I let that be since I did not want to create a scene. After we were seated ( 30 minutes), no water was offered. Menu arrived after 15 mins. Kids were hungry and we... read more

Just came back from a lunch at this new restaurant. They dont have a very big selection of drinks. We opted for the Musk Melon juice. After a wait of abt 15 mins, the waiter bought us a wrong drink. On pointing this out, he took another 10 mins to replace it. We sat there twiddling our thumbs. For lunch , we had ordered Masaledaar Bhendi, patte ki Kadi, Roti and plain rice. While the food itself tasted ok, it was not up to the expectation. Even basic things like filling your water glass seems like a herculean task to these waiters. I had to wait 10 mins to get me some water.. after having asked... read more
