Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
Going by the name, u'd expect they would serve decadent punjabi fare, if nothing else. But this one serves just about the same thing you will get in any other restaurant. The food, Indian that is, is no doubt tasty, but their is nothing grand or punjabi about it. For instance, I missed that my dal tadka was not cooked for hours for that yummy 'ghuta-hui-daal ka' taste.
Their is nothing much in terms of ambiance and service is just about alright.
Verdict: It aint bad, but it aint that good too. I have had much better North Indian food in Vashi, and this one was nothing spectacula... read more
While Royal Orchid is not your average fast food joint, it is certainly only borderline fine dining. Having been here on a couple of occasions, I happen to try a lot from their extensive menu, that happens to stack everything from Indian to Chinese, to Thai to Italian. And like too many cooks spoil the broth, the same happens to be true with this place as well, almost literally too.
I will not recommend their soups, especially the continental ones; for; they are way too brothy, taste the same across the menu and not at all flavorful. Indian starters are worth a try, especially the stuffe... read more
Ok, I understand fine dining and gourmet food, but I do not understand why one simple appetizer and the cheapest house cocktail should set me back by Rs. 1100 plus taxes. The place is top-notch, hands down! The ambiance speaks for the opulence and for a regular Mumbaikar, it can be an intimidating affair. Nevertheless, Aurus is best described as a surreal reality, an aspirational restaurant, and for some food connoisseur s a gourmet delight.
Going through the cardboardish menu, we ordered a salmon/crab patty, feta and pumpkin wraps, along with a sangria, two beers and a rose wine. Althou... read more
I love Little Italy for two reasons: Thin crust pizza and good wine collection. Not an ardent cheese fan, Little Italy lets me have a close-to-authentic Italian fare that suits my simple palette alot.
The seating in this Little Italy however is quite close, and on a busy night, it feels congested. However, a good meal usually makes up for space constraints. Make sure you reserve a corner table if you want a relatively private dining experience.
Verdict: Highly recommended to every Italian lover, particularly if you are vegetarian. Non-vegetarians- you may not go all that disap... read more

Excited at the prospect of a new restaurant in vashi did get my hopes high with Lemon Grass, and I am happy to say, my experience was not all that bad. The four of us were greeted by a friendly host and our server was most notably a fun one. He guided us through the menu, and even helped us chopstick-novices handle the regime of eating with sticks quite happily.
As for the food, if you have had authentic pan asian cuisine, u will be left wanting for more, but it is certainly not your average Indian Chinese joint. We had vegetables dim-sums, which came with a weird sweet sauce, followed... read more
