My cousins and I had dinner here on a weekend, a couple of months ago. The quality of the food is really good. I can't think of any other place in Bangalore that serves better North Indian, vegetarian food. We loved almost everything that was served that evening. I was dying to eat some good chola batura for a few days then and luckily it was a part of the menu that evening. The small kachoris were splendid. The palak halwa was heavenly. I love eggs and i was really happy when my friend informed my about this place about 1 1/2 - 2 years ago. I don't remember the number of times i have eaten here since then. I have tried almost everything on the menu and loved everything except for a Mexican rice dish. On top of my list is the Parsi egg preparation they serve. The dishes are rightly priced. It is a great place for a college kid to impress a girl without spending a mini fortune. I love the cozy ambiance.
There are a couple of things i don't particularly like about this place.

I had read so much about this place - both in newspapers and here that i once recommended this place to a friend even before eating here. Last Sunday my friend and i decided to finally try out this place.
My friend ordered a Bow wow wow, which is a hot dog in which you can choose to either have a chicken or a pork sausage. He opted for chicken. I ordered a veg. chilli chesse sandwich. I had heard people rave about the Snickers blizzard and decided to order one.

I have been here so many times that i have tried everything on their menu. This place is yet to disappoint me when it comes to the food they serve.
Their service was a bit sluggish a year ago but has seen tremendous improvement in the recent past. It's warm and friendly and if you complain about something (normally, they don't give u an opportunity to complain), the apology is genuine and immediate, and they are willing to make amends.
The best part is that the food is not very expensive. -

We decided to try this place after reading the review in Banglore Times.
Good food: Ordered their speciality soups which were good. Had three different varieties of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dim sums and liked them too.
Bad service: No one at the door. Waiter was clumsy. Spilled things a couple of times. We had to ask him to serve the food. He'd just tell us what it was and leave it at the table. Staff needs training. Manager handed me the cheque from the aisle.
Final verdict: Good food? Definitely yes. Fine dining experience? No.

That was a quick response. It is nice to finally see someone take customer feedback seriously in this country. I'd have definitely given you 5 stars had the service been good. Having said that i can cut some slack as you were running a full house that night. We couldn't try your desserts as our stomachs were full. We'll definitely return to your restaurant and we hope the service will be better the next time.
