We ventured into this place after hearing a lot of things about it from a colleague at work. The ambiance and location is not something to write home about - but the food being the primary reason is definitely something to rant about... We ordered the soup which comes in chai cups... and both of them were very tasty. We went for the mushroom and tomato basil... the tomato was perfectly tangy and mushroom was perfectly creamy... dear shirali, thatnk you for your very detailed feedback. ambience and location is able to keep costs down to manageable levels :). specifically the 5 spice sauce is tempered to suit the indian palate and is the balance on the menu to the lemon butter and cajun tempered fish dishes. you must try the lemon butter fish the next time you visit!
I had been to Aroy's on a weekday and the place wasn't too packed. The ambiance is very nice and open in an other wise claustrophobic city! We opted for a soup and a cocktail (As night falls). Both were very good and proportion of the soup was more than adequate for 2. The starters the followed and we opted for Golden basket with chicken.
