Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
I'm glad I live so near Citra, because it has some of the best vegetarian food that I've had in Bangalore recently :)
Don't miss the delicious veg grill burger, the dal ka chilla, crunchy moong dal pakodas, or even the gobi paratha. The various Thalis are also nice. I've been here at least 5 times just this week, and in all my visits I don't think I've ever been disappointed.
I'm withholding the last star only because the service could be a bit faster and the music needs to be a bit softer. Otherwise, the overall experience is excellent.
This is probably my favorite buffet in Bangalore. Well, there's the awesome Cafe Masala, but it's too exorbitant to visit regularly ;)
The food is delicious veggie Konkani/Mangalorean, where the superb taste doesn't compromise on nutrition. Even after a full lunch, I don't get the drowsies, and that's because the food is so healthy (minimal oil, no soda, no dalda, no junk). An interesting thing about the buffet is that once a certain dish gets over, they replace it with a new dish (instead of filling the food bin with more of the old dish, which is what usually happens at other places).... read more
This is a really nice little restaurant in Dollars Colony. They claim to have real Nizami cuisine, and though I loved the food, I can't say just how authentic it is.
This is one of the few places where you can get proper paneer. The paneer is soft almost like real Panjabi paneer, not the usual rubbery variety you find in Bangalore. Paneer Butter Masala is recommended. The veg Biryani is excellent, probably the best I've had. Methi Toorai was delightful. The laccha paratha was the best I've had too - crunchy on the outside and softer layers on the inside. The apricot+ice-cream dessert was... read more

Happy to know that you enjoyed your time at JASHN.Actually we have as many veg dishes as non-veg ones.Equal importance was given to both while preparing our menu. You can also try the lunch buffet we do on the weekdays which is very reasonably priced.Thank you...
Healthy and tasty food. Reasonable prices. Nice ambiance. Courteous service. What more could you ask for?
The New BEL Road outlet of Mast Kalandar is almost like a mess to me. Yet even after eating so often here, it's astonishing that the food never gets boring. This is probably because the recipes are perfect and the cooking is just as impeccable. It reminds me of "ghar ka khana" - maximum quality, fresh ingredients, minimal oil, no spice overkill. Just try the "Hot n Spicy Tikki Platter" or "Chole Samose ki Chaat" if you're in the mood for chaat. Each Paratha combo is served with a delec... read more
I used to love eating at EmGee's. I've been going there for over a year. They used to have good food at decent prices.
Unfortunately, EmGee's is in a state of decay. The food is getting more and more expensive, but the quality continues to decline gradually. The ambiance is also getting poorer. The furniture is way overdue for repair: foam and sponge peep out at you from where the upholstery has worn out. The washrooms are stinky, and the air-conditioning needs an overhaul.
The service was and still is impeccable, thankfully. But this is perhaps the only redeeming feature of... read more
