I visited this place with a friend today. It was eerily empty. It was around 8:30 pm when we reached there. We ordered one veg Panini, one Smirnoff (60 ml) with soda, and one more drink. They served the drinks before the main course. This was done very quickly. We kept the conversation on, just waiting for the Panini. It arrived with french fries (good!), but after around half an hour.
The Panini was okay, no issues. But my vodka was terrible. Yuck. It was like drinking slightly bitter water. Her drink wasn't all that great either, but we managed.

Now this is one seriously good place. At least if you wish to chill out with friends, with a coffee or pastries, in the open air, with a stunning ambience and an equally stunning crowd.
This place seems to go on for ever. It has levels, and levels, and levels. The AC section is a revered place in any Mumbai restaurant or pastry shop, but the AC sections here are the least revered. The non-AC, open air sections are the ones which leave you amazed.

Simply put:
1) Ambience: 4/5 - Liked the lighting and the seating.
2) Crowd: 4/5 - Good crowd, no complaints at all.
3) Food: 3/5 - Pizza was OK. French fries were good.
4) Booze: 4/5 - Had foster's beer (3 of us) and Smirnoff vodka (1 person).
5) Service: 3/5 - Alternated between quick and slow.
6) Price: Very manageable - 4/5
Total bill of 2 pizzas + 1 quarter vodka + 2 pitchers Foster's came to around 1500.

I visited this place today with a friend. We got a place in the exterior, non-AC section. I ordered a Budweiser and she a Corona. The reviews here rave about the place, but it really isn't all that special. The seating is well designed, no doubt, but the rest of the ambiance is pretty average for a pub/ lounge in Bombay. The crowd is typical Bandra - in fact slightly downtown Bandra, if there can be such a term.
The service is very good, quick and very polite. The food and the drinks were good. Rest is nothing to rave about. It's moderately priced - perhaps another positive.

U Turn: The Lounge Khar West | 29 reviews
This is a very good place. It's on the 4th floor, with open air seating. The beer was good, the french fries tasty. Service is reasonably quick. Cool ambiance, very good crowd. Music is also not too loud, not too soft. Perfect place for an hour or two of bliss. :) -

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. You mentioned you order one large vodka and another drink. Could you please mention what was the other drink which you ordered. We would certainly check on the quality of the nachos which is being served. We would also look into the matter regarding the staff's behaviour since we do undertake regular staff training.
