WTF? Why would one go to an Italian place that has no prosciutto or bacon or sausages? Boo.
I don't think the place is awful or poor. It just doesn't make any sense. If you want gnocchi in white sauce or some non-sense like that, stay home. -

I don't care much for the other food served here, but the bacon and eggs here is pretty good. The best bacon I've had in Bangalore. My buddy and I used to go here way too often, almost always late in the night, so we could get our daily dose of bacon and eggs.
The guys at Mozaic know us well enough that they'd serve us bacon and eggs any time of the day. -

The place to go for my chocolate fix. Death by Chocolate is delish! But soon I was unable to consume the DBC so I switched to the Cake Fudge, which is yummy too.
I'll give it a 4/5 because I don't know much about their other offerings. -

I've been to this place countless times -- in its earlier avatar and after renovation. I don't love the place, but it's not bad at all. The food is pretty decent. And they have a decent selection of Trappists.
I hate their cushy chairs -- so not bar like. But whatevs. -

No, this is not one of those pissed-off one-off something-went-terribly-wrong reviews (I never do those).
BUT.
Nothing was right about the place. And it wasn't even an accident.
I was meeting a bunch of my friends for dinner that night. The place was empty when we got there (9-ish). We started off with some drinks (really basic cocktails: Caipiroska, Mojito, etc.) and some antipasti (bruschetta and some caprese). The cocktails were terrible, the caprese was OK and the bruschetta was extremely mediocre.
