Post Rock and Mayurs visit , a whole new category of people have started visiting this place.I do fall in the same category.The curosity killed the cat and so did i visited this place on a sunday afternoon.There is lot of cause once you are inside.People standing right outside the main kitchen doors to get their parcel.The place is small and has spartan ambiance.The donne Biriyani ,though nicely done is no way near its more illustrious cousins(read Hyderabadi Biriyani) in terms of taste or flavor's.At best it can be compared to home cooked wholesome food.No culinary or finer gastronomical delights... read more -

The review title is something which I had probably known even without venturing out there.In Jayanagr/JP Nagar area ,people throng to mediocre restaurants housed in bigger hotels.These places do nothing more than serving average fare in a souped up ambiance with a big price tag.
Coming straight to the food, nothing here tastes remotely close to any authentic cousine.You best bet would be indian food.On a saturday evening they had no ice berg lettuce to prepare a salad, enough said !!!!

Somehow it so happend, that ended up visiting both their outlets within a span of 2 weeks, and here is how they fared:
Koramangala : Hole in the wall had a long waiting time so landed here.Ordered for the english breakfast which contains scrambled eggs/toast/grilled potato's/sausages or beacon and a nice mug of coffe.The quantity is sufficient.Though nothing in the meal really stands out , overall it satisfies.They also do have a collection of crepes which are average.

The previous reviews have actually done a good job in describing the setting and the experiences and there are no actual surprises on that front.
The place is decently clean and wel maintained.The host is a friendly guy who definitely knows the art of grilling meats inside-out.
The grills taste absolutely fantastic and almost the best i have ever had anywhere in bangalore.This holds true if you love american style grills smothered with homemade barbecue sauce.The taste as well as the texture/crunch is spot on.

To give a fair background first , Chung Wah opus is a chinese restaurant in a lounge format .The seating is mostly outdoor and well spread out.The rates ,though not as much as a fine dining joint, are pricey considering the place and food.
