Let's all forget about restaurants and places and review burrp itself. How do we really know that burrp's reviews aren't biased and that its 100% genuine like it used to be when burrp first started.
Lets take for e.g. this place itself it has newly opened but has been reviewed ( falsely) to be sure that one should read this and go to this place.
In some cases people promote their businesses in form of reviews, people get even at each other on burrp
Earlier burrp took the effort to delete fake reviews or at least flag them but that hasn't happened in quiet sometime.

They do have a nice restaurant, well lit and nice people to serve you. As I entered I waited for exactly 4 minutes to be seated in a partially crowded restaurant, they serve you bottle water as a standard practice, something I guess all restaurants of this category should adopt. Menus are digitally onto I pads, nice ! We ordered sweet corn chicken soup, good portion but then the chicken used in it was real funny tasting. something that comes out from a freezer or stale I really couldn't make out., brought it to the attention of the wait staff but he said hell have it checked and vanished !!!!... read more -

I have come back here after more than a year and what better time than valentines. Booked a table well in advance and we arrived well in time and the attendant knew about my reservation as I said my name and without much hesitation lead me to my table on their porch. The perfect ambiance for a romantic evening.
For starters I ordered their Prawns in garlic butter, and the mouth melting beef carpaccio. For main I went with beef steak while my better half had their recommended pasta All Giovanni which was good. And we ordered a bottle of their Prosecco. On Sunday sat at the bar and ordered for a long island, by definition it has to have 5 spirits, lemon juice and topped with cola. Mine was 4 white spirits and sugar syrup lots of lime and a flat Pepsi (from the 2ltr bottle). Sitting at the bar I realised the overworked bar tender (Abhishek) and I sort of agree since he was lethargic because of the crowd but that's not an excuse to short pour all the orders which literally was the case, every drink was short poured and only complete when the waiter asked him to top it up . Went there a few days back for a business meeting and the food took us off track from what we had come to discuss. The starters were fantastic and the most outstanding dish of all was the prawn pickle curry, super spicy and super tasty!
Then a king fish fry to go along was good too. Service was too intrusive but since it wasn't full its understandable.
A good recommendation for sea food lovers. -
