Bohemian Ballygunge | 1 review
Decided to go for family lunch today, after deliberating we shortlisted Bohemian......
Between the old and unpainted ancient buildings on Bondel road.... where everything is grey and brown, Bohemian is a burst of colour.
Bright yellow windows, with clothes pegs clipping rock album covers. and a bright green canopy the place is very inviting.

Being from Bengal, seafood remains an eternal weakness..... and have been in mumbai enough to know that it dosent get fresher..... mumbai and i have had many a gastronomic liaisons..... this came as yet another brilliant experience....
I was told that if i have gone to juhu and not gone to mahesh lunch home i hav not seen juhu..... goin buy a compliment like that i could not resist my temptation to go to the same.

Salt Lake has many restaurants, but a very few south indian ones, and this i think is the only one that is really worth a review.
being a foodie, it is very important to my that when i go to a south indian restaurant, the sambhar tastes good, not too much tomato, a good blend of tamarind, asafoetida (hing) and curry leaf flavors. the sambhar here gets a thumbs up...
This is a decent sized restaurant, simple approach, sweet staff, and non expensive.

This place is very close to my house. Originally opened a long time ago but got shut in the middle. They are back open and I still have very fond memories, especially of their devil's chicken. Not sure if they still serve it. In kolkata where most of the places shut by 10.30 thsi is a 24 hours home delivery place, they serve pizzas, pastas, Italian and continental baked dishes, sandwiches and subs and also Chinese. Although, Chinese is only available for lunch and dinner not 24 hours. Their food used ot be fabulous long time ago... and the challenge for a restaurant is to maintain its quality... read more -
