Cafe At NCPA Nariman Point  |  5 reviews

We had a Mudcake which was the size of pressed down muffin (Rs.200), ok tasting. Green Tea (Rs.98)- Warm water separate, Twinings tea bag separate. Doesn't make sense to me atleast!
    Plus taxes.
    Rs. 330
My point is that if they're charging so much, ambience shouldn't be the only reason.

The Urban Kitchen (TUK) Bandra West  |  27 reviews

The Urban Kitchen (TUK) has a baseline that reads- ‘It’s tuking awesome!’ Is it really?

Food- The cuisine comprises of mainly Italian and Indian vegetarian food but you do get a lot of other things. For example, you’ll find Pav Bhaji and Chhole Bature on the menu too. We called for a Focaccia Sandwich which had marinated mushrooms, balsamic onion, olives and jalapeno. I don’t eat mushrooms or olives but my friends had it and they loved it. Then we had the Jalapeno cheese fritters served with a dip. Both were awesome! The Pita bread with hummus was a little bland for my taste though.

On The Go Bandra West  |  37 reviews

Bandra never fails to come up with new restaurants every now and then and even though On the Go has been around for some time now, I just very recently went to check it out. And here’s what I thought of it.

Food- On the Go serves Italian, Mexican, Continental, Oriental, sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. So there’s plenty of stuff to choose from. Since my friend wasn’t going to eat at all, and I was super hungry, I decided to call for a Cottage Cheese Roulade (Steaks of fresh cottage cheese marinated in herbs and rolled in spinach puree, served with creamy paprika sauce), Cheesy garlic

Hi Roochster, thanks for your detailed review. I noticed that you liked everything else you tried at OTG, except the cottage cheese roulade. The cottage cheese used is actually steamed and not raw. As you may be aware, cottage cheese used in most Continental dishes is more often than not, served in its natural state, versus being cooked as it is in Indian dishes with a lot of spices. I do agree with you in regards to it being on the blander side. I personally am not a big fan of the cottage cheese roulade either. However, we have a lot of people coming in specifically to order it (especially since...read more

I had heard so much about this place and how it serves pure Amritsari water and blah blah blah that I just had to go check it out! Here’s what I thought of it.

Food- You’ll find North Indian food here- kulchas, dals, parathas, sabjis, chawal basically typical Punjabi cuisine. We were four of us and decided to call for 2 lassis (initial taste-bitter, found a small strip of plastic in mine so probably readymade lassi), 2 makke di rotis (ok), 1 sarson da saag (slightly bland), 1 Amritsari roasted papad (not nice) and 1 Cheese garlic kulcha (no traces or taste of cheese) to start with.
